The conference will be held
at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB)

The PRBB is one of the largest biomedical research clusters in Southern Europe. The PRBB, an initiative of the Government of Catalonia, the City Council of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), is a large scientific infrastructure that is physically connected to the PRBB"Hospital del Mar de Barcelona" and that gathers together six public research centres closely coordinated amongst them.

Researchers at the PRBB centres are interested in the mysteries of life and in the health PRBB Auditoriumproblems of our society. The researchers of the centres are distinguished by their discoveries in search of answers to the current health problems, and for their

contribution so that humanity can enjoy a better quality of life and be more educated. In this sense, they have multiple commitments: from generating new knowledge in the health and life sciences to the transfer of our technology and our knowledge to the enterprise world. Likewise, the activities and the laboratories are open to any person, entity or civil society that wishes to know them from the inside.

The PRBB building has a total surface of more than 55.000 m2 and is located at a 9000 m2 site at Barcelona's seafront by the Barceloneta beach. The building project was carried out by a team of two prestigious architects: Manel Brullet and Albert de Pineda, to create a building that adopts the specific objectives of the PRBB.

How to arrive
